My Calculus Class

Here is the result of my-calculus-class’s photo at Jonas Studio…

So sad to leave you soon. I found it quite nice being with you all during my first semester, though maybe I only remember about 20 names (it’s hard for me to remember names). But I’m sure that I can remember faces, hehe… Well, I’ve arranged to see you all in 3rd January, coz I will try the final exam of calculus, hehe… Good luck… See you…

Oh ya, last one, sure, you all can keep in touch with me, just add my FriendSter account (you can access it via the sidebar) or just add my YM account (microbrain_x).

Croatian Open Competition in Informatics

The 2nd Croatian Open Competition in Informatics results (Indonesian contestants) :

15 Brian Marshal 218
17 Risan 212
30 Felix Halim 174
40 Suhendry Effendy 150
69 Anggakara Hendra 119
71 Gerry Yulian 109
77 Darwin Kosasih 96
127 Uthak Ugel 40
150 Timotius Nugroho Chandra 31
162 Sam Aryasa 20

Actually, I’m a little bit shy about my result, coz actually I just did some brute force for the 4th up to the 6th task, there was no other way I could do since I just have about 100 minutes to do the contest (there was something more important to do that time, hehe…). Well, among the candidate participant of 1st National Training Camp, Petrus Risan got the highest score, congratz, keep on praticing!

Croatian Open Competition in Informatics

Yesterday, the 2nd contest of COCI 2007/2008 was held. It was from 9 to 12PM WIB (GMT+7). There were 6 tasks for contestants to solve in 3 hours. The environment system used in this contest is the same as the IOI 2007 system.

You can click here to open the main gate of COCI 2007/2008.

You can click here to open the contest system.

You can click here to read the 1st contest’s tasks.

The solution, usually the committee will publish it officially in a few days after the contest, but I will try to publish mine here. So far, I’ve only full-scored 3 easy-tasks (the 1st, 2nd, 3rd) and partial-scored the the rest tasks (pure brute force). But, personally I was satisfied with those result, because I only had about 100 minutes to code (I have to do something in the middle of the contest for about 1 hour).

For the OSN 2007 medalists, if you didn’t have enough time yesterday to compete, you can try the analysis mode. And if you really want to practice, try not to do “trial n error” way, try to fully solve and code the tasks in 3 hours without any help and then submit all your source code and see the score you can get. After you get your score, you can post your mark here as a comment. I will make a short list of OSN 2007 medalists’ rank in 1st contest of COCI 2007/2008. Enjoy this event as a warm-up for the 1st TOKI 2008 National Training which most probably will be held on 28 November - 11 December 2007.

ITB Mathematics Expo

ITB Mathematics Expo, 22-24 November 2007

Yesterday I attended one of several events in ITB mathematics expo. That was a seminar titled “How Would Picasso Look At Math?”. The speakers are Mr Iwan Pranoto Ph.D (senior mathematics lecturer from ITB) and Mr Sujiwo Tejo (famous artist).

Besides the seminar, as the title, there was also a mathematics exhibition. I found some mathematics jokes, maybe those aren’t something new, but still funny for me.

Are you a brainiac seeking testking questions and the answers to actual tests from top vendors? Well check out the new and updated guides for Microsoft’s mcts and the tricky mcitp certification and multiple exams.

 –Still empty–

Kau boleh acuhkan diriku
Dan anggap ku tak ada
Tapi takkan merubah perasaanku kepadamu

Kuyakin pasti suatu saat
Semua kan terjadi
Kau kan mencintaiku
Dan tak akan pernah melepasku

Aku mau mendampingi dirimu
Aku mau cintai kekuranganmu
Selalu bersedia bahagiakanmu
Apapun terjadi, kujanjikan aku ada

Kau boleh jauhi diriku
Namun kupercaya
Kau kan mencintaiku
Dan tak akan pernah melepasku

Aku mau mendampingi dirimu
Aku mau cintai kekuranganmu
Aku yang rela terluka
Untuk masa lalu
