Until this post published, I haven’t read any problems from day 1, so I don’t know whether it is easy, medium, or difficult on average.
Here is, TOKI 2008 results (out of 300):
Irvan Jahja 100 + 26 + 0 = 126
Reinardus Surya Pradhitya 100 + 22 + 10 = 132
Risan 100 + 40 + 7 = 147
Listiarso Wastuargo 100 + 26 + 0 = 126
For myself, the result is quite surprising, however it is good enough (as Ilham said in his blog). These points show that they weren’t feeling too nervous (at least not as bad as last year’s day 1, hehe… how stupid i am). Well, from my experience, I think I can predict that they will all get medals (at least).
Firsly, congratulations to those four boys who have a chance to grab a medal on IOI 2008. They have been selected among thousands Indonesian students who are interested to have the chance.
Well, after 10-non-continuous-weeks of training camp, Indonesian Team (TOKI) went to Cairo, Egypt. The team is accompanied by Mr. Suryana Setiawan (as leader), Mr. Adi Mulyanto (as co-leader), Mr. Julio Adi S, and Ilham Kurnia (IOI 2002). You can see the detailed schedule here. Ilham Kurnia with his private blog is keep “broadcasting” what is happening there, click here to see.
Lastly, I only want to say good luck, may God bless you all. Go get golds TOKI 2008!

Far away from the city (place where TOKI training usually takes place), now TOKI 2008 is doing a training in PIDEL (DEL Informatics Polytechnic), a beautiful place of study in the edge of Toba Lake (the largest volcanic lake in the world, lies in the northern part of Sumatra). This training is a part of TOKI preparations facing IOI 2008 in Egypt which will be held on 16-23 August 2008.
TOKI 2008, Mrs. Inggriani Liem (director of PIDEL, also active in TOKI training), Felix Halim (member of TOKI 2002), and me arrived at PIDEL on 12th July 2008. Training will be held up to July 17, on July 18 they will go to Samosir Island (in the center of Toba Lake) for vacation, before finally on July 19 they will go home.

It is still spinning in my head, how an idol can be stucked in one’s heart. Do they really awesome? (someone please tell me what is the essence of admiring idol(s)) Todays, I have some friends who really addicted to idol(s). I do remember some of them, for example, NEWS, HEYSAYJUMP, KINKI KIDS, etc. I do not even know who they are and what they did, the only thing I know is that they can “change” one’s life who only saw them via internet (in fact, some fans feel that their idol’s live is more important than theirs).
Anyway, an exciting story came out today when my friend was “crying” because a competition in which she have given her extra attention was scrapped due to the small number of participants. The competition was about designing KINKI KIDS banner (and if I’m not mistaken the prize was a concert ticket). Here is my friend’s:
I think the banner is nice (though I do not really like the faces). For my friend : take it easy, it is not the end of the world, hehe…
It is the second time I watch The Godfather (from Part I up to Part III) and definitely I still say that this is the best mafia movie ever made. The plot and the characters of this movie was extremely well written by Mario Puzo in the middle of 20th century. For those who do not know about this movie, this is a crime movie based on Mario Puzo’s novel telling about Corleone family. Awards and charts show that this is one of the best movie ever. One of the most popular of this movie is on its quote “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse” (which is spoken by the two most central characters, Vito Corleone and Michael Corleone, for many times), this quote was voted as the second most memorable line in cinema history in 2005 poll conducted by American Film Institute. Lastly, if you think that you are into “beautiful” and “sophisticated” dialog-based-movie, check this one, I think The Godfather will definitely entertain you.
The best voice I have ever listen in Indonesian Idol Audition. Awesome! Even one of the jury was crying when he was singing. Just check this out, vote for him!
